LEHIGH VALLEY TURFGRASS decided to develop a sod business in the Lehigh Valley area because we knew LEHIGH COUNTY in Pennsylvania had rich mineral soil conducive to good growing conditions.

The area has many golf courses, schools, universities, homes and businesses that we knew would use instant grass if the owners or managers had an opportunity to purchase sod at a reasonable price. Therefore an idea was hatched.

We plant the best bluegrass seed available from the state of Oregon. It is limed, fertilized and mowed until (usually 1 1/2 years) it is ready to be sold. Some of our customers have had our turfgrass for 20 years, and they tell us it is as beautiful as the day they installed it.

We sell a Bluegrass Blend of 5 different bluegrasses from the best available Oregon seed. LEHIGH VALLEY TURFGRASS is ready for play in about 3 weeks after installation. Proper watering and yearly fertilizing is the key to beautiful grass.
